Trango Setter Series - Tweakable Boulders

In the second installment of our Setter Series, Hold Shaper and Routesetter Roy Quanstrom takes you through his process for setting boulder problems with an emphasis on forerunning and tweaking.

These skills will help you adjust the difficulty of your boulders, account for different body shapes and sizes, and encourage your intended movement throughout the problem.

In an effort to further the quality of routesetting as a whole, we hope this vlog helps to shine some light on a sometimes unseen process and provide a new or up-and-coming setter with useful forerunning tips and suggestions for setting better boulders.
